====== Gryphon ======

The **Gryphon** was a unique creature that lived during the last period of the [[lore:Age of Dragons]]. The head of a great bird and the body of a powerful lion, the Gryphon lived in a paradise among the volcanoes formed by the chaotic nature of the [[lore:Shadow Realms]]. The Gryphon rules a land of birds who perched on the rocks and the insects they feasted upon. The first flowering plants grew in these mountains.
