The **Great Sphinx** lived during the last period of the [[lore:Age of Dragons]]. Created from the living power of the [[lore:Shadow Realms]] that gathered in the vast desert at the center of [[atlas:Nelphil]]. The Great Sphinx was a massive creature with the head of a primitive bird and the body of a a great cat. It ruled over an arid lands of lizards, serpents, and predatory mammals.

The Great Sphinx was killed during [[lore:The Great Cataclysm]].
