====== Fallen God ======

A fallen god is an outsider from the [[lore:Infernal Realms]] or [[lore:Divine Realms]] who once possessed [[primal power]], but has given it up most of it in order to fully manifest in a mortal [[dominion]]. Primal power causes untold damage to a [[lore:mortal plane]] and could possibly threaten all of existence. It is possible for a primal being (gods, devils, etc.) to shield some of their power with [[lore:spiritual power]] given to them by mortals of that dominion, but it would impossible to shield all of their power.

A fallen god does still have a small measure of primal power within them, depending upon how much spiritual power they still maintain. If a fallen god is forgotten by mortals and thus gains no more spiritual power they will eventually cease to exist.

**Earthmother**: The [[lore:Earthmother]] was once known as the powerful goddess Terra. When the world was weakened and nearly destroyed she gave up her [[lore:primal power#divine power|divinity]] and merged with the world to save it from destruction. She created the dwarves to keep her alive. If she dies the world dies with her.


**Irrish**: The great serpent god [[lore:Irrish]] gave up all of her divine power in order to slay a devil that had been plaguing the world for centuries. She defeated him, but now must lie dormant upon the world that has become her prison.
