====== Basilisk ======

Often called the king of serpents, a basilisk is a legendary reptile who can kill with a simple gaze. It is a small snake, measuring no more than twelve fingers in length, but it is so [[wp>venomous]] that it leaves a wide trail of poison in its wake, even its gaze is lethal. Its only weakness is the smell of a [[wp>weasel]], which are often thrown into a basilisk's hole to drive them out.
