====== Jinni River Valley ======

The **Jinni River Valley** is a large valley that cuts through the western [[atlas:Iron Mountains]] along the path of the [[atlas:Jenny River]].


===== History =====

In the [[lore:Age of Legends]], [[people:Mavros]] constructed his [[atlas:Red Tower]] in the river valley. It grew to a large castle, curtain wall, and watch towers that covered nearly the entire valley.

In Y26 [[lore:AH]] the [[orgs:Aggy Eye Clan]] built their [[lore:Dwarven Hold#Clanhold]] across the Jenny River. The only mining in the area is coal and semi-precious stones, most notably [[wp>agate|agates]]. However the land is fertile and well suited for hill-side farming and herding. The Jenny River is not navigable, but provides a mostly safe trade route south.


===== Geography =====

The Jinni River Valley is a soft rolling u-shaped valley with gentle slops along its edge. The Jenny Riverbed is large enough to accommodate spring floods without overflowing its banks.
