====== Dengal Strait ======

The closest point between the [[atlas:Miran]] and [[atlas:Aquanius]] continents this [[wp>strait]] is just 10.2 km at its narrowest point. The [[wp>chalk]] cliffs on either side of the strait rise up over 90 meters from the waterline presenting a unassailable face to ships passing between them.

Atop the land on both sides of the strait are large [[atlas:Theodova]] city-fortresses. Its great siege engines cannot completely close the strait, but safe passage would be very difficult as both cities have several warships.
